HICC events are carefully planned to showcase member businesses. These events promote networking and bring the community together.
The social committee promotes fellowship and networking among members and other Chambers of Commerce. The committee plans the Chamber’s monthly Business After Hours (pau hana) events and other member get togethers.
Lynn Nuniez is the social committee chair for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.
The committee’s goals are to host an in-person event and generate more income for the Chamber. Future events include flower arranging and another whiskey tasting.
Nuniez enjoys connecting with and learning about Chamber members. “I enjoy having committee members that are energetic and excited to put events together,” she says. “I like celebrating successful events that are enjoyed by the attendees.”
