Aloha HICC Members,
The Social Committee just held our last Business After Hours (BAH) for the year. Thank you to Randy Kurohara and his team at Creative Arts and Aloha Grown, our attendees had a fun and festive time at his store location. Ono pupus and drinks and a behind the scenes look in printing our own “Creative Arts” t-shirt were all part of the program. What a great night!
A big “MAHALO” to our sponsors that contributed to our Holiday Angels project that benefited 26 families through Going Home Hawaii. Vanessa Carlson spearheaded our project and came up with the idea of themed baskets that would be enjoyed by each family. Some of which included, family game night, pizza party, book club, baking, personal care and even goodies from the galaxy. Smiles and appreciation filled the air when each family was presented with their basket.
Looking forward we are gearing up for an active 2023 with our sponsored and co-sponsored in-person BAH events. If you are interested in hosting an event or would like to be a part of the Social Committee, please contact Miles and Taylor at the Chamber office. Monthly meetings are held at 4pm on the 3rd Thursdays at the Chamber office conference room.
