The HICC currently serves more than 300 members. Recruiting and retaining members is vital to the success and growth of the Chamber.

The membership committee develops marketing strategies to increase Chamber membership and support member retention. They work with Chamber members to ensure they are getting the best value from their membership.

Kapaelani Comstock will be the membership committee chair for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.

One of her priorities is to recruit new Chamber members, for a total of 333 members, by the end of the fiscal year. “As a strong member-driven organization, growth contributes to our success as an organization,” Comstock says.

The committee is seeking seasoned members to participate in the New Member Connection program. The program is designed to connect new and seasoned members to enhance the Chamber experience. To sign up, click here.

“Your participation in this program will help the Chamber continue to grow, promote member engagement, and increase membership retention,” says Comstock. “We hope we can count on your support!”

Comstock invites current members to attend the next membership committee meeting on July 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. via Zoom. For the link and more information, please email kacomsto@ksbe.edu.
