About Kelly Banks Hoen

Kelly Banks Hoen has a passion for leadership development and organizational effectiveness.  She is the Senior Vice President of Here and Now Consulting a premier global firm, focusing on helping clients build a unique culture of service, training solutions, leadership and executive development programs.

Her career has been in hospitality in the Hawaiian Islands holding executive level positions leading teams in operations, food and beverage, sales and marketing, and finance. 

Most recently as the area general manager for Outrigger Hospitality Group in Waikīkī, Kelly Hoen had oversight of sales strategy, market planning and revenue management.  She also served as the general manager for Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, leading this property with an emphasis on innovation and technology, host training and operational excellence.  Kelly brings more than two decades of luxury hotel/resort experience and an impressive track record of success in repositioning hotels in Hawai‘i.

A third-generation kama‘āina, Kelly grew up in Kailua on O‘ahu and graduated from La Pietra Hawaii School for Girls. She earned a BFA in English, fine arts and secondary education from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. A certified teacher, Kelly utilizes her training skills on people development and is reputed to be one of the best mentors in Hawai‘i’s hospitality industry.

She is married to Tom Hoen and together they have raised four children.  Her joys in work are watching people grow and learn, her purpose is to inspire and motivate.
