Government Affairs Committee Meeting

The GAC was asked by the executive committee to simplify/reduce the number of top priorities this year, mostly because of COVID. These are meant to be broader categories, rather than specifics re: certain bills. Through discussion and feedback, we will try to make sure our “top three” will include a wide variety of our members’ concerns.
Also on the agenda, details and information on HB467 HD1– RELATING TO PUBLIC LANDS will be shared.
The Government Affairs Committee (GAC) monitors legislative measures at all levels of government that may affect the Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce, its members, or the business community in general.
Meetings: This month’s meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 16 at 11:30am.
